1) 초등부 룸맘 발런티어 업데이트 해드립니다.
- 김혜정(서요셉목사님반), 김희선(구윤숙선생님반), 심문정(조주완선생님반), 신경연(최성진선생님반), 강은아(박성심선생님반)
아직도 다섯 명의 룸맘 발런티어분들이 더 필요합니다. 친교실 앞에서는 더 이상 룸맘 발런티어 사인업을 하실 수 없으나
제 목소리로 만나시게 될 것 같습니다. 기도하시고 기쁜 마음으로 자원해 주시면 감사드리겠습니다.
2) 영어 중고등부 Weekly Report 입니다.
- 이번 금요일에는 University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign에서 개최되는 CFC 부흥회에 참석합니다.
교회에는 Steffi선생님과 Claire선생님이 계실 예정이니 부흥회에 참석하지 않는 아이들도 교회에 올 수 있게 독려해 주시면
감사하겠습니다.
- 주일에는 "성령하나님"에 대한 마지막 설교가 있겠습니다.
- 계속해서 다니엘전도사님과 선생님들, 그리고 아이들을 위해서 기도해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
마지막으로 미국시간으로 이번 주 목요일에 서요셉목사님이 수술하십니다. 기도로 함께 했으면 좋겠습니다.
Hello PSG!
I am excited to report another great weekend in the youth group! On Friday, we had praise & prayer night! The praise was led by some volunteers in our EM and the prayer topics were led by one of our youth group teachers. There weren't that many of our students present, but I still believe it was a great night. I really do hope you can encourage your kids to come out to these nights. If there is any night you're going to send your kids, make it this night! Properly worshiping and praying to our Father in Heaven is something that is so vital in our lives. Please, let's do this together!
Sunday was another great one as well. We had Pastor Yun Choi guest speak as he continued the series on the Holy Spirit. Then afterwards, we had some quality time with our small groups. Personally, it has been a tremendous blessing seeing our kids come out and enjoy their time together after service. Then afterwards, we had our weekly discipleship training. We actually played a Bible-based baseball game where we were able to read the word of God together with some purpose while also having some fun. It was truly a blessing to be able to lead it with the other members of the youth group staff!
As for this week, some of our youth group members will be going to the University of Illinois at Chicago this Friday to Saturday for their annual CFC Revival. We have been doing this for the last few years and we always come back blessed and with good memories. We hope this year will be the same. Please do keep us in prayer! And we know that not all, actually most, students will not be attending. But do not worry, our teachers Steffi and Claire will be staying behind. Therefore, please send your kids out to church this Friday even if they have not signed up to attend the U of I trip!
And this upcoming Sunday, I will be finishing off our series on the Holy Spirit! Please keep me in prayer this week seeing as how the U of I trip will take away a lot of my normal preparation time. But as always, please do keep your kids in prayer! Whether there is time to prepare or no time to prepare, a long sermon or a short sermon, Bible study or no Bible study, there is no power without prayer. So please do continue to pray for the students, the staff, myself, and everything else you can possibly think of!
