안녕하세요 ~
1) 이번 주일에 있을 중고등부 학부모 간담회 리마인드 해드립니다.
일시: 11월 6일 3부 예배 후
장소: 교육부 카페테레아
12:10분 부터 점심 식사 준비 됩니다. (메뉴: 쏘세지 오뎅볶음)
간담회일정: 1) 선생님들 소개 2) 향후 영어중고등부 일정 3) 질의응답시간 등의 순서로 진행되겠습니다.
2) 영어 중고등부 Weekly Report 입니다.
- 금요일에는 EM과 찬양과 기도로 함께 합니다.
- 주일에는 "Practice of Worship"에 대해서 설교합니다.
- 계속해서 다니엘전도사님과 선생님들, 그리고 아이들을 위해서 기도해 주시고
아이들이 금요 예배에 많이 참석할 수 있도록 독려해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
3) 이번 주일은 영어 중고등부 학부모 간담회 점심 준비로 평소보다 많은 양을 해야 하기 때문에 일손이 많이 필요합니다.
이번 주 점심봉사는 한어부 발런티어 맘들이 수고해 주시나 영어 중고등부 학부모님께서도 손길 보태 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
점심준비는 2부 예배후 교육관 식당에서 시작합니다.
끝으로 초등부 서요셉 목사님 일본에서 수술 잘 마치시고 돌아 오셨습니다. 수술한 부위가 잘 치유될 수 있도록 계속해서 기도해 주시길 부탁드립니다. 그리고 중고등부 학부모님들 ~~~ 이번 주일 12시 10분 교육관 카페테리아에서 모두모두 뵙기를 기대합니다.
Hello PSG!
Well this weekend was certainly a busy one! This past Friday we had an activity night in which our students broke into groups & pairs and carved pumpkins together! I really do believe it was a great time of fun and fellowship. And afterwards, although it was unplanned, some of the students stuck around to finish watching the Cubs game together. That was a fun time as well. Then yesterday I continued our series on "Back to the Basics" where I preached on the vital practice of praying. Going along that topic, I do ask that you all continue to pray for your kids and this youth group so that anytime any message or lesson is taught or preached, God would really help to allow the message to sink in! Anyways, after the sermon, we did not have small groups because of the set-up for Sunday's big dinner.
This upcoming Friday we have a very special night as we join together with our brothers and sisters in the EM for a joint praise and prayer night! Please continue to pray for this night so that it can be one where God is really worshiped and glorified by both ministries in unity. These nights don't come by often enough, so please send your kids or at the very least encourage them to come out! We have done this before last year and it was a great time from what I can remember. It was just such a blessing to see both ministries worshiping God together, so please keep this night in your prayers! And speaking of worship, this Sunday I will be continuing the "Back to the Basics" sermon series on the practice of worship. Please keep that in your prayers as well!
Also, please remember that this Sunday we will be having the youth ministry fair where you all, as the parents, will be able to have lunch and be informed about what our youth group will be doing this year! After eating lunch together, we will introduce the youth group staff, fill you in on upcoming events, and answer any questions you may have. For this to be effective and beneficial for our ministry and your kids, the more parents that are there will be better. So please come out!
