Hello PSG!

 

I hope all your weeks have started off in a blessing fashion! I just wanted to start off by reviewing the weekend. This past Friday we had our in-house missions fundraiser at Chick-Fil-A in Mount Propsect followed by praise and prayer night! Thank you for all you who helped with rides and sent your kids to either one of those events. Both were highly encouraging and served as a time of fellowship for our youth group students. So thank you for that! And on Sunday, we continued our sermon series on the "Order of Worship" by talking about why we recite the Apostles' Creed. Thank you for all your prayers in the midst of preparation and for the Sunday itself! I can confidently say that God answered them!

 

For this week, we will be starting off the weekend by having a night of Bible games this Friday night! As it is a form of Bible study, we highly encourage you to send out your students! It will be a good time to engage with the Word of God in a refreshing way. As you think about the importance of the Word of God in one's life, I hope and pray you will realize just how important that is for a student growing up in the world we live in. When there are so many things teaching them to lean away from God, it almost seems irresponsible to prevent our students from an opportunity to learn how to lean closer to God. So I ask for your cooperation and prayers! And on Sunday, we will  be continuing our sermon series on the Order of Worship by talking about the element of preaching itself. Please pray for myself and the students as we both prepare to give and receive the Word of God!

 

Also, just as a reminder, this Sunday our in-house missions team will be leaving for Chicago! Please keep us in your prayers! Plans are set and schedules have been made, but God is full of surprises. So please keep every single one of us in prayer! (David Lim, Sumin Cho, Sam Jeon, Eujin Choi, Timmy Whang, Daniel Cho, Nathan Cha, Jonathon Chung, and Youngseo Oh).
